Lost Camera

I recently left my purse (which contained my camera, my license, etc.) on a New York City subway...
And I am forced to use Photobooth until I get a new camera.

The third project: the transformation of my portrait into an A&D faculty member. This assignment allowed me to experiment with mediums and ideas I haven't explored yet since the beginning of this course. I chose to play with oil paint and clay (two mediums I haven't used at all since I've been at U-M), and 3-D and 2-D perspectives.

Having never worked with clay or sculpture, I am just discovering the obstacles that come with clay such as getting it moist and learning how to mold it. It was hard: my only "tool" to sculpt was a mechanical pencil and a thumbtack. The clay I ordered was surprisingly really hard and difficult to shape with hands. Nevertheless, I'm having a lot of fun.
